Mr. Chhiring Bhote, a government school English teacher from Danggokh village, Ward No. 3 of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality (BRM), currently teaches at Guwachhesa Basic School in Pangdok. With 9 years of teaching experience, he is also a roster trainer for the English subject, having received Training of Trainers (ToT) 3 times, all organized by NELHOS.
After attending ToT in March 2025, on the final day of the English Training of Trainers, during a reflection session, he shared that he had recently participated in the Government’s Teacher Professional Development (TPD) training. At the event, teachers from across the region were present. He recalled,
“During the TPD training, teachers from many different schools across the region were present. When I demonstrated the techniques and lesson planning methods I learned from NELHOS, they were truly surprised. They said, ‘How did a teacher from such a remote part of Bhotkhola know about all this? We had no idea such methods even existed!”
Mr. Chhiring Bhote expressed his sincere gratitude to NELHOS for providing such meaningful training. He believes that the knowledge and experience gained will be extremely valuable in future training sessions and will further strengthen the education system of Bhotkhola RM by enabling better facilitation and support for fellow teachers.
