NELHOS Nepal and BRM Education Sector / Youth Sports Section jointly conducted a successful four-day English and Math Subject Teacher Training in Hatiya from May 7 to 10.
The Math Teacher Training was faciliated by experienced roster trainers Mr. Lenduk Bhote and Mr. Wangja Bhote. A total of 17 teachers from various schools in Bhotkhola and Makalu Rural Municipality took part in the training. The facilitators adopted inclusive, participatory methods that actively engaged all participants. Their approach not only demonstrated strong subject expertise but also highlighted their skills as facilitators, helping teachers strengthen their teaching practices with a focus on child-centered methods.
Training Highlights
The English Teacher Training was facilitated by Mr. Chhiring Bhote and Mrs. Chhingchippa, both experienced roster trainers for English. Fourteen teachers from various schools in Bhotkhola and Makalu Rural Municipality took part in the training. The training emphasized interactive, child-friendly teaching strategies and offered practical techniques to address common student challenges in grammar, pronunciation, and more.
